Positive change at the pump?

Motorists saw some positive change at the gas pump with prices in the Carolinas dropping, while U-S demand remained relatively flat and crude oil prices began to change.  But the auto group AAA says it’s too early to know if cheaper prices will be sustained or continue a downward trend.  South Carolina’s price average sat at $2.89.  Nationally, the average was $3.15.  Although crude prices tumbled to $66 a barrel due to market concerns that the spread of the Delta variant will slow potential economic growth and demand, market concern about the pandemic reversed by the end of the week and pushed crude higher.
