Permitting a new urgent care facility

Announcement by a Seneca official that the 123 ByPass is in store for an urgent care facility.  The mayor and council were told last night that such a medical facility has been permitted to go into the former BB&T bank at 975 Bypass 123.  It’s believed the facility will be created by Alabama-based American Family Care, which claims to have more than 200 facilities in 26 states.  Tracey Chapman, interim director of Seneca planning and development, says the facility will offer professional medical offices, physician offices, and a nurse’s station.
