Paving plans open for public comment

The entire, proposed pavement improvement work over the next year in South Carolina is open for public comment.  The DOT wants to hear from you on what you think about what’s in the plan to pave nearly one thousand miles roadway across the state at a cost of $472 million.  It’s part of South Carolina’s Ten-Year Plan for rebuilding state roads, with the help of higher gas taxes paid at the pumps.  And is designed so that roads in every county in the greatest need are repaired.  Comments may be registered online.  Those without internet may review the plans and make comments in this area through the South Carolina A-COG in Greenville, at 30 Century Plaza.
