PATRICIA JONES
Walhalla – Patricia Ann Jones, 94, wife of the late William “Skeet” Raymond Jones, passed away on, February 4th, 2024 at Cottingham Hospice House.
Born on October 11th, 1929, in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan, to the late Randolph Grey and Vergie Nell O’Kelley McWhorter. Patricia was a Medical Lab Technician but was most proud of being a military wife and mother. Patricia was a member of Westminster Wesleyan Church, an avid reader, and she thoroughly enjoyed Genealogy.
Patricia is survived by her sons, William Randolph Jones (Brenda) of Pickens, and Richard Patrick Jones (Natalie) of Liberty; daughters, Kay O’Shields (Chuck) of Irmo, Valerie Kurtz (Steve) of Liberty; grandchildren, Sarah Smith, Ryan Jones, Laura Waldroop, Andrew Jones, Matthew Jones, Kristin Sanders, Scotty Wyatt, Tyler Donnahoo, Drew Donnahoo; and 18 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Patricia is preceded in death by her grandson, Jay B. Wyatt.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Westminster Wesleyan Church, with burial to follow at Oconee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends and family from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at Sandifer Funeral Home.
