Pastor Roger R. Lambert

Westminster, SC —Pastor Roger R. Lambert, 77, husband of Linda W. Groomes Lambert of 44 years, of 191 S. Retreat Road, Westminster, passed away, Thursday, August 23, 2018, at Simpsonville Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.

 

A native of Elbert, West Virginia, Pastor Lambert was the son of the late Colonel Roosevelt and Anna Puckett Lambert. He was a veteran of the U.S. Airforce from 1958-1964. Pastor Lambert was a member and former pastor of New Beginnings Church in Burnettown, SC. He had a great sense of humor, enjoyed singing gospel and country music and was a pastor who truly had an “Agape” love for everyone he met.

 

In addition to his wife, Pastor Lambert is survived by his sons: Mark Lambert of Clearwater, FL and Timmy Lambert (Michelle) of Tallahassee, FL; daughters: Kelli Wynn (Ed) of Tallahassee, FL, Tabbitha Bogacz (Jason) of Erieville, NY and Tedanna Boyd (Brad) of Westminster, SC; sister: Carol Farley (Don) of Abingdon, VA; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and an extended church family that he greatly cared for.

 

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
