Partial closing of recreation park near Clemson

What the feds couldn’t do, perhaps, the city can do better.  The city of Clemson has begun cleaning and preparing the Twelve Mile recreation area on Lake Hartwell for the enjoyment and convenience of park users.  The city recently signed a contract with the Army Corps of Engineers to manage and improve the recreation area.  Clemson will hire a new staff, find a contractor to clean the park, and finish minor improvements to meet ADA requirements.  During this time, the park will be closed Monday through Friday, but will open Saturday and Sunday.
