OTTO OLRIDGE KELLEY, SR.

Seneca, SC– Otto Olridge Kelley, Sr., 88, survived by his wife of almost 70 years, Annie Louise Lyle Kelley, of Seneca, died peacefully on Sunday, November 13, 2022, at Cottingham Hospice House in Seneca, SC.

 

A native of Oconee County, Mr. Kelley was the son of the late Otto “Cooter Kelley” and Mary Magdalene “Maggie” Broome Kelley. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired after working 30 years as a Plant Engineer at J.P. Stevens/Seneca Plant. Mr. Kelley was a member of the Oconee Country Club and was a member of New Haven Baptist Church in Seneca.

 

In addition to his wife, Mr. Kelley is survived by his son: Otto O. Kelley, Jr (Teresa); daughter: Wanda K. Smith (Kent); sisters: Maggie Lee Winchester, Mary Towe and Sadie Owens; brother: Johnny Kelley (Faye); grandchildren: Jesse Kelley (Jessica), Toni Crocker (Michael), Zack Smith, Caleb Smith (Lexie) and Hannah Belcher (Chris); great-grandchildren: Cassody (Gavin), Zachary, Elijah, David, Landon, Adaline, Blaine, Lexton and Lawson; great-great-grandchild: coming May 2023.

 

In addition to his parents, Mr. Kelley was preceded in death by an infant son: Jimmy Kelley; and a sister: Pauline Cannon.

 

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at Davenport Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

 

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM, Wednesday, prior to the service, at Davenport Funeral Home.
