One-half of city council changes in two weeks

Three new members of the Westminster City Council officially will likely take their seats to start four year terms in office after the first of the New Year.  That’s what we learned today from Brian Ramey who won re-election to a second term as mayor in the November elections.  Ramey says he’s hoping to arrange a ceremony in which he, along with councilmen-elect Cater, Chastain, and Duncan, will take the oaths of office.  There’s speculation that a swearing-in for Walhalla’s November winners will take place December 30.
