One death, 113 cases

One additional South Carolina COVID-19 death reported yesterday brings the state’s toll to 331 dead from the virus.  The death was that of  an elderly person in Marion County.  DHEC added 113 new cases yesterday, which brings to 7,653 the total number statewide.  Sunday’s report included two new cases in Anderson County, five new cases in Pickens County, but no new cases in Oconee.  On Saturday, one new Oconee case raised the county’s total to 37 cases. The state health agency is partnering with community organizations to host free COVID-19 mobile and pop-up testing clinics.  Among the new mobile testing sites are locations this week in Charleston, Clarendon, Florence, Lee and Saluda counties.
