Ola Mae Cooper Qualls

Westminster – Ola Mae Cooper Qualls, 92, wife of the late Curtis Eddison Qualls, passed away Friday, January 28th, 2022 at Prisma Health Oconee Memorial Hospital.

 

Born in Oconee County, South Carolina, Ola Mae was the daughter of the late Charlie Garnett Cooper and Lillie Mae Wilson Cooper.  Ola Mae was a homemaker and a member of Mountain View Church of God.   Ola Mae enjoyed gardening, flowers and canning.

 

Ola Mae is survived by son, Tony Qualls of Westminster; daughters, Renee Cooper of Westminster, Cynthia Roberts of Newark, Delaware and Connie Wilson of Townville; brothers, Fred Cooper of Seneca, Sammy Cooper of Mt. Airy, GA; sisters, Charlene Isaacs of Pinellas Park, FL, Barbara Jean McClamma of Westminster; special niece, Tonya Mathis of Westminster; 11 grandchildren  and 22 great grandchildren.

 

In addition to her parents and husband, Ola Mae is preceded in death by sons, Douglas Charles “Doug” Qualls, Lewis Julian Pelfrey, Jr.; brother, Wayne Cooper; sisters, Frances Camp, Frankie Blackwell, Sandra Dickson; and grandson, Lewis Julian Pelfrey III.

 

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm, Friday, February 4th, 2022 at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Unity Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends, 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm prior to the service at Sandifer Funeral Home.
