Oconee’s Ride to Work gets a financial boost

Agracel, a national industrial real estate developer, announced a $10 thousand donation today to Ride to Work Ministry in Oconee County.  Agracel employees choose various community-based organizations to support through their “Can Do Fund.”  The Ride to Work Ministry in Oconee is dedicated to providing temporary, affordable transportation to Oconeeans, and the goal is to help individuals transition to stable employment with a living wage and achieve self-sufficiency.  Richard Blackwell, vice president for Development for Agracel, is a believer in what Ride to Work does and has long been familiar with the non-profit.  Blackwell’s employer has done real estate projects in Oconee, including the following clients:  Baxter, Horton, and CurTec.
