Oconee’s high schools get their day on Saturday

This year’s seniors in Oconee’s high schools will rise early on Saturday morning to prepare for a momentous day in their lives.  Because of COVID-19, the graduation ceremonies for the senior class are later this year and will be conducted with safety precautions.  Separate 8:30 am ceremonies are planned in each of the high school football stadiums at Seneca, Walhalla, and West-Oak.  Gates will open at 7. No bags will be allowed into the stadiums and, unfortunately, friends and loved ones of the grads will  not be allowed to leave the seating areas to snap pictures.  And there are other rules in place, details of which can be heard on 101.7/WGOG NEWS.
