Oconee lawsuit alleges privacy invasion

A lawsuit filed in Oconee last week by an Anderson attorney representing a former assistant principal names Oconee County and an employee of the county Probate Court as defendants and contains allegations of breach of confidentiality and invasion of privacy.  The Oconee Common Pleas Court case, filed is titled, “Sandra King, plaintiff vs. Stacey Fischer and Oconee County, South Carolina.”  In damages sought, the plaintiff’s side contends the amount exceeds $100 thousand and a jury trial is requested.
