Oconee lawmakers cast a vote in Columbia

101.7/WGOG NEWS has learned that the South Carolina House voted in favor of a bill to remove the military service requirement to serve as a county director of veterans’ affairs. Seneca Rep. Bill Sandifer says both he and Walhalla Rep. Bill Whitmire voted in favor. The bill is believed to have passed on the way to the Senate by a vote today of 105-0.
