Oconee group concerned about bullying

An organization whose goal is to prevent bullying throughout Oconee County has been in existence since the middle of 2017. That doesn’t mean the problem has gone away. Bullying has been defined as harming, intimidating or coercing someone perceived as vulnerable. A representative of Oconee Concerned Citizens Against Bullying reminded Seneca leaders last week that bullying is still a problem. If you’d like to learn more about the local effort to stop bullying which, in part, means changing people’s attitudes, you are welcome to attend group meetings. They meet each Thursday at 7 pm at Kingdom Glory Church, 104 WN 1st Street, Seneca.
