Oconee case count reaches 452

By 11:59 pm July 12, DHEC’s COVID-19 case totals for Oconee stood at 448.  By our count, if you add the four additional cases reported yesterday, the latest Oconee count is 452.  With still one confirmed death, it is believed that many of those 452 have recovered or are recuperating.  Unless you’ve been on a shuttle to outer space, you know that Oconee is one of the many places where there is a continual spike in cases. So great has been the Oconee surge that in recent days it has surpassed the neighboring Georgia county of Stephens, which yesterday had recorded 323 positive cases.
