Oconee and South Carolina women in the suffrage movement

History will be re-told next week in Walhalla during a free, online program highlighting the centennial of the 19th amendment which allowed women the right to vote.  The program will run 7 to 8 o’clock Wednesday night, August 26–the official 100th anniversary that the amendment became part of the U-S Constitution.
