O.C.S.O. Arrests Pelzer Man for Westminster Area Crimes

(Walhalla, SC)————————————-The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Pelzer man yesterday on multiple charges related to a series of crimes that occurred this summer on Dr. John’s Road in Westminster.

On Monday of this week, the Sheriff’s Office issued a release regarding seeking the whereabouts of 26 year old Brandon Scott Hope of Slatton Shoals Road. Hope had outstanding arrest warrants charging him with two counts of Grand Larceny, six counts of Petit Larceny, four counts of Breaking Into a Motor Vehicle, three counts of Burglary – Third Degree, two counts of Financial Transaction Card Fraud and one count of Financial Transaction Card Theft which are all related to this investigation.

Hope turned himself him in at the Law Enforcement Center in Walhalla and was booked into the Detention Center around 7:06pm.

Hope is the third individual arrested as part of this ongoing investigation. On Monday, in the same press release, the Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of 24 year old Harlie Montana Beck, who has listed addresses of Nash Street in Fountain Inn and South Spring Street in Westminster, on charges of Accessory After the Fact of a Felony and Receiving Stolen Goods.

The Sheriff’s Office also announced on September 4th the arrest of 27 year old Joseph Edward Kinsel of Sunshine Ridge Road in Westminster. Kinsel was the first arrestee in the investigation and has been charged with two counts of Grand Larceny, three counts of Third Degree Burglary, six counts of Petit Larceny, four counts of Breaking Into a Motor Vehicle, and one count each of Failure to Stop for a Blue Light, Financial Card Fraud and Financial Transaction Card Theft.

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation.
