Norma Powell

Westminster- Norma Sue Tilson Powell, 66, wife of the late Donald “Donnie” James Tilson Powell, passed away Sunday, July 31^st, 2022 at her residence.

 

Born in McKaysville, Georgia, Norma was the daughter of the late Welzie Tilson and Iris Curtis Tilson.  Norma had a passion for collecting and enjoyed going to thrift stores and was of the Baptist Faith.

 

Norma is survived by her sons, Tony Parks and Donald “DJ” James Powell II; a daughter, Felicia Mashburn; six grandchildren, Zane Krout, Simon Thomas, Whitney Barilleux, Dadrian Flowers, Jaylynn Flowers, and Brock Flowers; two great-grandchildren, Roan and Sebastian; and her companion, Tony Parks Sr.

 

In addition to her parents and husband, Norma is preceded in death by a son, John Powell; daughter, Lola Ledford; step-daughter, Kim Rochester and a sister, Shirley Woods

 

Per Norma’s wishes, a memorial service will be held at a later time.
