No Summer Nights this summer on Short Street

Here’s an announcement from Libby Imbody, Walhalla Main Street director:  “After careful consideration of increasing COVID-19 cases in our area, and consultation with health and school officials, we are adjusting our annual Summer Nights on Short Street series. We are now preparing for “Summer Nights at Home!”, a series of activity kits that families will pick up from local shops. These kits will have goodies for the kids, recipes, activities and virtual challenges in them all centered around a theme. We have a lot of great ideas to include in the kits and think this will be a fun and safe way for families to stay entertained this summer. As much as we love our community and love seeing families come out and play on Short Street, we feel that we should do all we can to ensure things get back to normal this fall. Families who are interested in participating can join the “Summer Nights on Short Street” Facebook group, email [email protected] to receive email updates or call (864) 977-0222.”
