No school today!

With snow on the ground, there’s no school today across Oconee County.  According to an updated announcement, Oconee County government offices, including the courthouse, are closed. The convoy hauling the big transformer to Bad Creek spent the night in the Cherry Hill Recreation Area of the Sumter National Forest.  Before leaving out this morning on the rest of their journey, the haulers get to enjoy the spectacle of a mountain snowfall.
