No police chief yet, now looks like Tuesday

A two-and-one-half hour City Hall meeting last night failed to deliver a new chief of police for Walhalla. But City Administrator Brent Taylor believes early next week will be the charm. Late last night Taylor told 101.7/WGOG NEWS: “They (the city council) didn’t decide, but I expect them to on Tuesday.” Tuesday next week will be the regular monthly meeting of the city council with its department heads.
