No confirmed cases at any Clemson campus or facility

Clemson University officials made the decision to move to online instruction following spring break. President Jim Clements addressed the decision in a note to the campus community. In a press conference, South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster ordered the closing of all public schools — including colleges and universities. Clements followed by announcing the continuation of online instruction and suspension of all activities, programs and events statewide through at least Sunday, April 5. University officials continue to closely monitor COVID-19 and are actively engaged in daily planning in an effort to inform and reduce the risk to faculty, staff, students and visitors from the virus. As of 8 last night March 15, the University confirmed the following:
• No confirmed cases at any Clemson campus or facility.
• Zero cases at Clemson campuses or facilities being monitored.
• Online instruction has been implemented following spring break, through at least Sunday, April 5.
• All students, faculty and staff returning from international travel must contact University health services (864-656-2457) to undergo thorough medical screening.
• The University announced no programs, events or activities will be held statewide through at least Sunday, April 5.
