News from Oconee Planning

Work continues on developing an Oconee County Comprehensive Plan for the years 2020 to 2030. Last night two planning commission members were scheduled to make a presentation to the county library board of trustees. And planner Adam Chapman says the office wants to spread the word to Oconeeans that comment is welcomed on what kind of a county they’d like to see over the next ten years. The public is welcomed to register a comment at [email protected]. Chapman also announced that a consultant has been engaged to study the increasing traffic congestion on the Seneca-Clemson corridor of 123.
