New housing planned in the Westminster area

Westminster City Council learned last night that there are two sizeable home development projects on the drawing books within the city’s utility service area, and one of them near highway 11 appears imminent.  That’s why the city administrator, Kevin Bronson, came to the meeting to recommend a policy that requires developers pay part or all of the costs to installing necessary water and sewer infrastructure.  The policy as outlined would have Westminster arrange for its engineering consultant, Troy Rosier, to evaluate and certify project drawings and estimate the costs for laying pipe.
