Nevan Hopkins

 

Walhalla – Nevan Matthew Hopkins, 20, passed away on Tuesday, August 15^th, 2023.

 

Born in Easley, South Carolina, Nevan was the son of Brian Keith Hopkins and Shannon Hopkins.  Nevan worked as a technician at First Class HALT of Anderson, and had a great passion for photography and mountain biking. He was known for working with his hands, a knife collector, was of the Baptist faith, and his greatest love was spending time and playing with his son, Atlas.

 

Nevan is survived by his parents, Brian and Shannon Hopkins and brother, Brady Hopkins of Walhalla; girlfriend of 5 years and mother of his children, Megan Chastain of West Union; children, Atlas Loren Hopkins of West Union and a baby on the way.

 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, August 21^st, 2023 at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends and family from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm, Sunday, August 20^th, 2023 at Sandifer Funeral Home.
