New Dollar General planned one-half mile from Seneca

Plans are in the hopper for a new Dollar General store on SC 130/the Rochester Highway, one-half mile north of the Seneca city limits. Adam Chapman, county planner, confirmed the project during an interview today with 101.7/WGOG NEWS. “The developers have submitted an application. We’re just going thru the standard process of getting them building,” Adam Chapman, county planner, said. The property size approximates five to six acres, but Chapman says the footprint won’t approach that size. It’ll be (Dollar General) standard size, he said. At its Monday meeting, the county planning commission will hear about the plans.
