Nancy Knox Schaffer

Walhalla- Nancy Knox Schaffer, 73, wife of Richard “Dick” Schaffer, passed away July 31, 2020, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

 

Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Nancy was the daughter of the late Roscoe Charles Knox and Elizabeth Shepherd Knox Green. Nancy was a homemaker, and a member of Foothills Church. She was involved with Community Bible Study (CBS) and Precepts. She was an avid equestrian.

 

Nancy is survived by her husband, Richard “Dick” Schaffer, and her son; David Long; daughter, Jennifer Anne “Jenny” Forrester; sisters, Susan Knox Hofer, Judy Knox Skinner; and grandson, Zachary “Zack” Lawson Forrester.

 

 

A Celebration of Life will be at 2pm, Sunday, August 9^th, 2020, at Foothills Church.

Per Nancy’s wishes casual summer dress attire is to be worn to the celebration of her life.
