Multiple charges placed against 26-year old

Law enforcement officers apprehended a 26-year old man Friday afternoon in the vicinity of a Seneca motel following a short chase on foot.  Arrest records today identify Tyler Wayne Smith as having been charged by the Oconee Sheriff’s Office with burglary, larceny and other offenses.  In the burglary first degree and grand larceny warrants, Smith is accused of entering an Oakway trailer and taking variety household goods “on or about April 14, 2023.”
