Missing Greenville County Man’s Vehicle Located in Oconee County

Search Continues This Afternoon for Missing Greenville County Man

A search is continuing this afternoon in northern Oconee County after the vehicle of a man reported missing by Greenville County was located. Late this morning, a hiker discovered a gray 2010 Nissan Sentra on Tower Road near Highway 107. The vehicle was located at a gate that was secured. Keys were found inside the vehicle, but no one was located inside the vehicle.

Oconee County Emergency Services have established a unified command this afternoon at
Oconee State Park with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office in the search for Mark Patrick
Wagnon.

As of 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 22, Oconee County deputies located Mark Wagnon’s vacant vehicle on Tower Road off Highway 107, and, along with Greenville County deputies, are conducting a search of the area.

Wagnon, a 66-year-old white male last seen on August 19th, was driving a 2010 gray Nissan Sentra (SC Tag 7097KN) and requires immediate medical attention due to memory issues.
