MICHAEL SELVAGGI

Salem, SC– On December 5, 2023, Michael Selvaggi, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, went to his eternal home. Born in Newark, NJ to Enrico and Angelina Selvaggi, he is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years: Elizabeth; his three children: Michael Selvaggi (Donna), Cheryl Ruziska (Michael), and Andrea Woodring (Corey); and six grandchildren: Michael, Alex, Elizabeth, Madeline, Mackenzie, and Harper.

 

Those who were fortunate to know Mike knew his immense devotion was not only to his family but to the 50+ years he spent working at Cornell Dubilier Electronics. Upon his retirement as Cornell’s International Sales Vice President, Mike spent the subsequent years volunteering at Prisma Health Oconee Memorial Hospital, the ARC of Oconee County, and the Knights of Columbus at St. Paul the Apostle Church in Seneca, SC. He enjoyed being active in his community in Keowee Key in Salem, SC, and could often by found walking the Leisure Trail or in the Fitness Center.

A celebration of Mike’s life will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Seneca, SC at a later announced time.
