Michael Lee
Westminster– Michael Edward Lee, 39, passed away on Wednesday, July 5th, 2023 at his residence.
Born in Oconee County, Michael was the son of Edward Mann “Ed” Lee and Carol Elaine Crenshaw Lee. Michael was a graduate of West-Oak High School and had attended Tri-County Technical School. Michael was a Corporal with the Oconee County Sheriff’s Department for over 17 years, a member of the Westminster Masonic Lodge #200. He was a member of Westminster First Baptist Church, where his strong Christian Faith, was very important to him. Michael had a passion for the outdoors, doing lawn care work, he was a follow in his father’s footsteps, as he greatly enjoyed building and remodeling. Michael’s greatest love was his children, he was a dedicated and loving father, who was involved in everything that involved making his children happy, his love for his children will not be forgotten. Michael will be remembered for his funny sense of humor and making people laugh.
Michael is survived by his parents, Ed and Carol Lee of Westminster; his children, Grayson and Hannah Lee of Westminster; sister, Sherry Lee McGuffin and husband Shane of Seneca; nephews, Luke, Cole and Crew McGuffin; and numerous, aunts, uncles and cousins whom he loved dearly.
Michael is preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Earline Crenshaw, and Fleet and Hazel Lee
A private service will be held with burial to follow at Heritage Memorial Gardens.
