Message from the Seneca mayor

As the tornado struck, the Seneca mayor and his family had retreated to their basement in their S. Oak Street home.  Mayor Alexander realizing all the time that many of his constituents were beginning to be impacted by some of the worst nature can offer.  Since then, he’s has been heartened by the spirit inherent in the phrase “Seneca Strong.”  In a message released yesterday, Alexander said, “The generosity from churches, businesses, students and several other chapters of the community have meant so much to those affected….From landscaping to laundry, hot meals or cool places to store perishable goods, we depend on and cared for one another without complaint or selfish ambition….I want to personally thank our City’s Team.  Everyone has gone above and beyond their call of duty in order to help those around them….”
