Mary Elizabeth Rholetter Bramlett
Long Creek- Mary Elizabeth Rholetter Bramlett, 81, wife of Rev. Bobby D. Bramlett, passed away Tuesday, February 8th, 2022 at Cottingham Hospice House.
Born in Long Creek, Mary was the daughter of the late Gus C. Rholetter, Sr., and Arinthia Carter Rholetter. Mary formerly worked in textiles with Philips Fiber, was a beautician and a member of Damascus Baptist Church. Mary loved her Lord and her family, enjoyed gospel singings and traveling to the beach.
In addition to her husband of 62 years, Bobby Bramlett, Mary is survived by a daughter, Lisa Turpin (Gene); brother, Jack Rholetter; sister, Gladys Cobb; grandchildren, Lee Poole (Fawn), Brandon Poole, Valerie Poole, Misty Edwards (Chad); 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Tammy Turpin; brothers, Howard Rholetter, Curtis Rholetter, Junior “Gus” Rholetter; and sister, Eleanor Rholetter.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm, Friday, February 11th, 2022 at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm, Friday, February 11th, 2022 at Sandifer Funeral Home prior to the service.
