Mary Ann Hughes Fox
Seneca, SC — Mary Ann Hughes Fox, 80, husband of Charles Eugene Fox, of Seneca, passed away on Monday, December 18, 2023, at Oconee Memorial Hospital.
A native of Union, SC, Mrs. Fox was the daughter of the late Clyde and Helen Jolly Hughes. She retired from the School District of Oconee County after teaching for 25 years. Mrs. Fox was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church and the Seneca Woman’s Study Club.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Fox is survived by her daughters: Caroline Fox Rice (Clay) and Elizabeth Fox Thompson (Mike); grandchildren: Connor and Charlie Rice; brothers: Lewis Hughes and Harold Hughes; and her three cats.
A Celebration of Life will be held at her home at 209 Julius St in Seneca, on what would have been her 81st birthday, December 29, 2023, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM, after the Gator Bowl. Please wear your Clemson orange.
The family is at their respective homes.
