Marvin Durham
Seneca– Marvin Albert Durham, 85, husband of the late Glenda Newell Durham, passed away Sunday, May 15th, 2022 at Prisma Health – Oconee Memorial Hospital.
Born in Oconee County, Marvin was the son of the late Albert Durham and Octavia Rogers Durham. Marvin was the retired owner of Durham & Sons Construction, a member of Hepsibah Baptist Church, and also attended Old Hepsibah Baptist Church and Hopewell Baptist Church. Marvin was a member of the Seneca Masonic Lodge #185 and was a Hejaz Shriner.
Marvin is survived by son, Tony Durham; daughter, Sharon Knight (Don); sister, Linda Weaver; grandchildren, Matthew Lollis, Landon Lollis, Brittney Robbins, Chad Durham, Zachary Durham, Troy Knight, Danielle Holland; and 11 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, May 20, 2022, at Hepsibah Baptist Church with burial to follow at Hepsibah Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Thursday, May 19, 2022, at Sandifer Funeral Home.
