MARK VAUGHN

Mark L Vaughn, 68, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at the Cottingham Hospice House.

 

Mark was born June 4, 1955, in Seneca, South Carolina to the late Rueben and Ruby Nell

Vaughn. He was a mainstay in the automotive business in Oconee and Pickens counties for

over 25 years primarily at Friendly Dodge in Seneca. For the last 34 years, Mark was a member of Earles Grove Baptist Church.

 

Mark is survived by his wife of 45 years, Diane L Vaughn; his son Andy (Jahna) Vaughn of

Raleigh, North Carolina; his daughter Megan (Wesley) Black of Westminster; along with his five grandchildren: Brayden and Kennedy Vaughn along with Ruby, Brooks, and Zinnia Black. He is also survived by his siblings Vicki (Royce) McCall, Tony (Val) Vaughn, and Andrea (Bruce) Kesler.

 

He left a legacy of faith, selflessness, and deep unconditional love for family. He was also known for unrelenting strength, courage, and determination regardless of the circumstances. He was a good friend, a good husband, and a good father. Mark was a good man.

 

A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, May 3rd, 2024 at 3 pm at the Heritage Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mark’s memory may be made to Cottingham Hospice House, Attn: Foundation Office, 298 Memorial Drive, Seneca, SC 29672.
