Marguerite Zadie Andrews

Walhalla – Marguerite Zadie Andrews, 83, wife of Charles “Chuck” McKeen Andrews III, passed away Sunday, February 7^th, 2021, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

 

A native of Orangeburg County, Mrs. Andrews was the daughter of the late John V. and Zadie Williams.  Marguerite was retired from the Oconee County School District where she taught at Walhalla Middle School. Mrs. Andrews was of Baptist faith and a member of College Street Baptist Church and her greatest love was for her grandsons, who called her “GG”.  

 

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Andrews is survived by her son, Wallace “Pete” Talmadge Smith Jr. and wife Jessica; and two grandchildren Brady Talmadge Smith and Brantley Wallace Smith.

 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later time.
