Margaret Miller Grubbs

Westminster- Margaret Miller Grubbs, 80, wife of the late William “Jack” Richard Grubbs, passed away February 19th, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

 

Born in the Holly Springs Community, she was the daughter of the late John and Velma Phillips Miller. Margaret worked as an office manager for Dr. Nimmons and late was an insurance agent with Allstate. Margaret retired to spend time and keep her beloved grandchildren and was a member of Westminster Baptist Church.

 

Margaret is survived by her son, William Keith Grubbs and wife Rebecca of Westminster; daughter, Anna Marie Copeland of Westminster; brothers, Edward Miller (Jo), Lex Miller (Beverly); sisters, Beatrice Duke (David), Karen Blohm (Wally), Elizabeth Coppola (Paul); five grandchildren, Ashley, Lauren, Garrett, Kayla (Tyler Bidgeman), Haley                                            and one great-grandchild, Oliver Bridgeman; and her best friend, Laura Johnson.

 

In addition to her parents, Margaret is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Lex Vance and Zelia Lee Phillips; and paternal grandparents, Turner and Anna Chambers Miller and her brother, Bobby Miller.

 

A Funeral Service will be held 12pm, Tuesday, February 23rd, 2020 at the chapel of Sandifer Funeral Home with burial to follow at Heritage Memorial Gardens. In lieu of a formal visitation, Mrs. Grubbs will lie in state at Sandifer Funeral Home, Monday, February 22nd, 2021 from 9:00am – 5:00 pm where you can pay your respects and sign the register book.
