Marching orders assigned to Scott Moulder

After a closed-door meeting, Seneca’s elected leaders gave administrator Scott Moulder the authority to negotiate a potential arrangement to employ Moulder’s predecessor, the retired Greg Dietterick, as a consultant. The vote came on a motion by Anthony Herman Smith. The councilman told 101.7/WGOG NEWS afterward that the city considers Dietterick’s 20-year past valuable enough that the retired administrator could be helpful in weathering issues, such as the dispute with members of the Haynes family about the former Harper’s 5 & 10 building across from city hall. If agreeable with Dietterick, the consultancy could run about two years, in Councilman Smith’s estimation.
