Man wanted in Texas in custody at Walhalla

A man wanted by the state of Texas was placed into custody by the Walhalla police Saturday afternoon, when a city policeman responded to a report of a vehicle burglary at the Walhalla Gardens Apartment complex. The police say they found Adkins, Texas resident Gene Scott Caffey by knocking on an apartment door and learning that a ”full nationwide extradition warrant for theft” existed for him.
