Luke Hollinger
Luke Aaron Hollinger, age 24, of Walhalla, SC passed away Sunday, February 18th, 2024 in his sleep from a seizure. Luke was born on November 1st, 1999, in Ephrata, PA to Philip and Lisa Hollinger.
Luke was employed by Genesis Portable Buildings, as a shed builder. At the end of November 2023, he wrapped up a 2 year term at Bald Eagle Boys Camp, as a chief, in the Adventurer Group. He loved his boys and his time there very much. He attended Foothills Fellowship in Westminster, SC, where he graduated from Foothills Christian School in 2018.
Luke enjoyed white water kayaking, reading, working, and playing games.
He is survived by his parents, Philip and Lisa Hollinger, New Providence, PA, three brothers, Andrew Hollinger and wife Hannah, Seneca, SC and Gabriel and Peter Hollinger, New Providence, PA. A foster brother, Eric Mealor of Vale, NC. His grandmothers, Eunice Hollinger, Mohton, PA and Marilyn Mohler, Kirkwood, PA; 17 uncles, aunts and 35 cousins.
Visitation will be held at Foothills Fellowship, Westminster, SC, on Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. The funeral will be held on Friday, February 23, 2024 at 10 am, with internment at Foothills Cemetery to follow. Everyone is welcome to stay afterward for a meal at Foothills Fellowship.
