Louie “Bud” Clark
Westminster – Louie “Bud” Starnes Clark, 94, husband of Flora Mae Saylors Clark, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at Prisma Health – Oconee Memorial Hospital.
Born in Belmont, North Carolina Louie was the son of the late Lonnie Clark and Mable Hollinsworth Clark Chastain. Louie retired from JP Stevens after 41 years, where he worked as a loom fixer. Louie was a beekeeper and enjoyed being outdoors and was a member of Weldon Road Baptist Church.
Louie is survived by his beloved wife, Flora Mae Saylors Clark of 26 years; his son, Scott Gibbs and wife Debbie; brothers, Frank Clark, Terry Clark, Floyd Clark; sisters, Louise Fleming, Marlene Deering, Flora Roads; six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Louise was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Rick Gibbs; brother, Conard Clark and sisters, Ruth Thirston and Helen Parton.
A graveside service will be held at 2:45 pm, Monday, February 20th, 2023 at Rock Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends and family from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm, at Sandifer Funeral Home prior to the graveside service at Rock Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
