Loretta Davis

Seneca – Loretta Burdette Davis, 68, wife of the late Lee Davis, Jr. “Poopee”, of 3050 Pine Grove Road, passed away on Tuesday, September 20^th, 2022.        

 

Born in Anderson County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Evelyn and Thomas Burdette. Loretta was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary and she enjoyed spending time with her family – especially her great grandbabies, camping, soaking up the sun in the pool, and back porch sitting.

 

Loretta is survived by her son, Will Head (Shauna); daughters, Tissie Head (Bill), Amy Roach (Luther), Sonya Dobson; step-sons, Grant Davis (Shonda), Jonathan Davis; grandchildren, Bailey Roach, Jenny Roach (Houston), Kailee Gregg (Ian), Chloe Gregg, Brayden Bramlett, Bryson Head, Tommy Sanford, Jeannee Evans, Kayla Love (Matt), Danielle Merck (Jake); great-grandchildren, Gavin Roach, Shelby Roach, Hesston Lanning, Levi Merck, Kennedy Martin, Cady Love, Sophie Love, Aubrey Love, Axle Love; and her special cousin, Brenda Burdette.

 

In addition to her husband and parents, Loretta is preceded in death by her brother, Tommy DeVane Burdette; step-son, Preston Davis, and her grandson, Cade Baldwin.

 

A graveside service will be held at 3:30 pm Friday, September 23, 2022 at Earles Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends and family from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm prior to the service at Sandifer Funeral Home.

 

The family is at the home of her daughter, Tissie Head, 3018 Pine Grove Road, Seneca, SC 29678.  Flowers are accepted or memorials in Loretta’s memory may be made to the Walhalla Ladies Auxiliary VFW # 6830, 2415 Highland Highway, Walhalla, SC 29691.
