Looking to Rep. Duncan’s aide for an answer

The executive director of the Oconee Chamber of Commerce, JoAnn Johnson, is hopeful that in her planned talk tomorrow with a top aide to U-S Rep. Duncan that she will be able to elicit an answer tomorrow on whether there will be a second $1,200 virus relief check.  Last week at least some Americans, apparently for multiple reasons, hadn’t received the first check.  And questions arose whether the federal government might cancel plans for a second check, in favor of stimulus for other sectors of society, such as small business.  Johnson plans to speak to Rick Atkins, chief deputy for Rep. Duncan, during an Oconee Chamber of Commerce news program tomorrow afternoon.
