Let’s fly away

A new, not-for-proft flying club in OconeeCounty says it can offer the novice lessons for as much as 40% less than what it would cost to enroll in a school for profit.  The Golden Corner Flying Club, stationed at the OconeeRegionalAirport, has formed based on guidelines of the Aircraft and Pilots Association.  Club President Redd Gardner says the club has seven members and seeks five more.  Its members include an advanced pilot trainer and a retired Army captain.  Everyone is welcome.
