LES BEARD

Fair Play, SC – Leslie “Les” Howard Beard, Jr., 75, husband of Carol Deanna Gregory Beard, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2024, at his residence.

 

Born in Watertown, New York, Les was the son of the late Leslie “Les” Howard and Elizabeth Jane Prosser Beard, Sr.  Les was the owner and operator of Shiny Blinds and Windows.

 

In addition to his wife, Les is survived by his children, Lisa Ullmann of Florida, Cody Beard of Aiken, SC, Peyton Beard of Aiken, SC, Rachel Golding of Aiken, SC, Stephanie Hembree of Asheville, NC, Savannah Hembree of Fair Play, SC; brother, Lynn Beard of Fair Play, SC; sister, Ann Bartholomew of Wilmington, NC; and grandchildren, Michael Ullmann, Braxton Beard, Eligh Rice, Ethan Rice, Micah Hembree, Jayden Calloway, Cristiana Mendez, Harlee Powell, and Hazelee Powell.

 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held by the family at a later date.
