Lawsuit alleging damages filed against sheriff’s office
A lawsuit filed Friday in the Oconee Common Pleas Court names the county sheriff’s office the defendant in what the civil action describes as a domestic investigation on April 17, 2021. According to the pleadings of the action brought by Greenville attorney Charles Bondurant, on behalf of plaintiff Edmond Joshua Sexton, the plaintiff disputes what it claims are the facts surrounding Sexton’s arrest.
