Laundry incident leads to arrest in Walhalla

A Walhalla policeman and his suspect both wound up getting medical attention yesterday in a laundry business incident on W. Main Street. The police say at 6:36 am at Tiger Wash, they found Bryan Ashley Evans of Neal Road, Seneca inside the crawl space between washing machines. According to the police report, after an attempt was made to place Evans in investigative detention, Evans ran and a foot chase proceeded down the hill west of Tiger Wash. The police say a stop warning was given before their suspect was felled by a Taser. The police issued tickets and charges alleging refusal to accompany arresting officer, malicious injury to real property, and unlawful for person convicted of crimes to possess ammunition. The police say from Evans they confiscated several rounds of ammo.
