Large Clemson employer to build anew

The Quarter Pounder will be served from a new building in Clemson.  The Tiger Boulevard McDonald’s is getting a makeover from the ground up.  The 1976 building was demolished this month and the replacement McDonald’s, at the same location, is being built in time for an August opening.  Restaurant owner James Partridge says, “The modernized restaurant will focus on our customers’ needs for digital, delivery and drive-thru operations….”  The new Clemson McDonald’s plans to employ 75-90 people and has openings at all levels, all shifts, from entry level to advanced management.  After 90 days, workers are eligible for tuition assistance $2,500 to $3,000.”
